With under 10 days to go to the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon 2023, the Two Oceans Marathon is proud to announce the signing of the Official Vehicle Sponsor, Kia.

A consistent top-seller in South Africa, Kia is lending its expertise in movement, to the Race, with a fleet of vehicles to provide reliable, stylish, and technology-forward transport to key suppliers and office staff as preparations for Africa’s biggest running event kick into high gear.

“Movement has always been a part of Kia’s DNA and will remain so even though the way in which we move may change over time. At its core, movement creates the space to find inspiration in new experiences, to find fresh perspectives, which is why it’s so fitting that Kia is the Official Vehicle Sponsor for the 2023 Two Oceans Marathon,” comments Gary Scott, CEO of Kia South Africa.

The practical and efficient Kia Pegas will provide Race staff and organisers the space and efficiency to move quickly and reliably along the route and its various operational bases, while the tough and versatile Kia K2700 Workhorse, with a 1,3-ton payload – will be doing all the heavy lifting.

The flagship Kia Sportage GT-Line S – a finalist in the 2023 South African Car of the Year competition – will be this year’s lead vehicle, guiding the elite athletes to the all-important finish line.

“The Kia Sportage will be stationed at the start, and depart one minute before the race begins, signaling to our elites that their race is about to get underway. With Kia at the helm, we know that they are in the safest of hands.
