EXPO AND RACE REGISTRATION
31 March 2021 to 2 April 2021 TBC
The continued easing of restrictions in the South African sports and tourism sector is positive news and has been well-received by the running community.
While the TOM NPC continues to plan for the eventual opening of international sport, to the extent that we will be able to host another world-class and safe running experience soon, we are unable to provide an update on this event until we have met with all the relevant authorities and stakeholders.
We will keep you updated as our plans progress and in line with the potential easing of COVID-19 regulations.
Sports enthusiast who lives for the latest trends in running and other sporting codes? Then the Two Oceans Marathon Expo presents you with the perfect opportunity to catch up on all things new and innovative, and to be a part of the exciting atmosphere leading up to Africa’s biggest running event.
So much more than a running expo, the exhibition includes top sporting brands, apparel, supplements, outdoor adventure sports and sporting tours on the exhibitor list, to name but a few.
If you’re a participant in the Two Oceans Marathon, this is the only place you can collect your race packs.
VENUE AND DATES
As a Two Oceans Marathon entrant, you are required to collect your race number, race pack, as well as any T-shirt ordered, at the Expo. You may not collect these once registration closes.
We do, however, understand that travel delays and other commitments may prevent you from collecting your race essentials in person, which is why you may authorise someone to do so on your behalf. The Race Pack Authorisation Letter for 2020 will be available for download prior to Expo 2020.
A person collecting on your behalf must provide one of the following:
* Note that you may not impersonate another runner by running with their race number and temporary chip. Collecting another runner’s race pack does not allow you to run on their behalf.
If you are collecting on behalf of a group or team, please ensure that each runner receives his/her correct race number and temporary timing chip. This is vital in order to avoid issues in case of an emergency, or disciplinary measures after the race.
