Notice to all members of the media

The world-renowned Two Oceans Marathon is pleased to advise that media accreditation applications for the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon 2025 are now OPEN.

As an interested media practitioner/professional, you may apply for media-specific access to:

• The TTOM 2025 Elite Athletes’ Press Conference – 4 April 2025, midday 
• The TTOM 2025 Ultra Marathon – 5 April 2025
•  The TTOM 2025 Half Marathon – 6 April 2025

#TTOM2025 Important Dates:

• 4 April 2025, midday: Elite Athlete’s Press Conference, Southern Sun, Newlands
• 5 April: TTOM Ultra Marathon | Post-race Press Conference 10AM, Media Tent, Finish Field, UCT Upper Campus
• 6 April: TTOM Half Marathon | Post-race Press Conference 8.30AM, Media Tent, Finish Field, UCT Upper Campus

Applications will close on Friday, 21 March, 5pm.

If your application is granted, we will advise you how and where to collection your #TTOM2025 media accreditation. 

Requirements: Journalists

Please identify your areas of accreditation preference when applying. Kindly note that accreditation spots to the start and finish are limited.

If you are a freelance journalist, please submit a commissioning letter or brief from your news agency or media outlet, specifying the extent of the access requested.

Note to photographers

In accordance with the International Association of Ultra-runners Organisational Guidelines vs090701 Section 11.3 C protocol relating to an Ultra Marathon finish line, all TTOM 2025 finish line photographers will be positioned in a media area that is 30m from the finish line.
