Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD announces a three-year partnership with CTICC

The organisers of the World’s Most Beautiful Marathon are excited to announce a three-year partnership with the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). As part of the partnership, runners participating in the 2027 Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON (TTOM) powered by BYD can look forward to an enhanced race-week experience.

The TTOM Race Pack Collection and Expo will take place from Thursday 01 April 2027 to Saturday 03 April 2027 at CTICC 1 (Halls 1-4), bringing together one of South Africa’s most iconic road-running events and one of Cape Town’s premium, world-class convention centres.

From 2027, the floor space allocated to the TTOM Race Pack Collection and Expo will more than double that of the 2026 Expo, creating a larger and more engaging experience for runners. The expanded footprint will allow for a broader offering with a particular focus on road running, while providing more space to improve the flow and efficiency of race pack collection.

Runners can expect a sleeker, more streamlined and enjoyable experience, with more room to move through the Expo, explore the various offerings and soak up the excitement ahead of race day.

The partnership brings together the scale and expertise of the CTICC with the heritage and stature of the Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD, providing a premium platform for the event to welcome thousands of runners during race week.

Chris Goldschmidt, Chairperson of the TWO OCEANS MARATHON NPC, says the partnership represents an important step forward for the event.

“The Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD has always been about delivering an exceptional experience for our runners, both on and off the road. The CTICC provides us with an outstanding environment in which to welcome our runners to Cape Town and build the excitement ahead of race day.

“The three-year partnership gives us the opportunity to develop the Race Pack Collection and Expo over the long term. Doubling the floor space from 2027 is particularly exciting, as it will allow us to create a bigger, better and more runner-focused experience while making race pack collection as seamless and enjoyable as possible.”

Wade Bromfield, Event Director of the Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD, says the expanded footprint will unlock new opportunities for the Expo.

“The CTICC is a world-class venue that aligns perfectly with our long-term vision for the Totalsports TWO OCEANS MARATHON powered by BYD. Following a successful first year together, we’re pleased to extend the partnership for a further three years.

“From 2027, the increased space and infrastructure will allow us to further elevate the Race Pack Collection and Expo experience, expanding the offering to runners and creating greater opportunities for our partners and exhibitors. This partnership gives us a platform to grow, innovate and continue raising the standard of the overall TTOM experience.”

Please Note: Exhibitor applications for the TTOM Race Pack Collection and Expo will open on Monday 12 October 2026. Applications can be sent to liezle@showoff.co.za
