The Two Oceans Half Marathon was added to the event in 1998, and attracts a sold-out field year-on-year, as it did in 2023 once again! In 2025, we are excited to be hosting the 26th running of South Africa’s biggest Half Marathon!
The Half Marathon is a great event if you’d love to be a part of the Ultra Marathon, but are not quite ready for the arduous 56km. You’ll run through Claremont, Kenilworth, Wynberg, Constantia, the famed Southern Cross Drive and then make your way back to Newlands, followed by the UCT Finish Fields in Rondebosch.
Expect an incredible atmosphere – typically, the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon is home to the best fan and spectator support you could wish to have.
The event is run under the auspices of the WA, Athletics South Africa (ASA), and Western Province Athletics (WPA).
