edition of the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon will be over and you will
hopefully have your feet up, thinking back to the highlights of your

| ALL ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED!
Entries into the Ultra Marathon, Half Marathon and Trail Run have
closed! You cannot give your number to someone else and you are not
allowed to run with someone else's number. This rule is for your own
safety and anyone running with someone else's number will - together
with the original entrant - face disqualification and an event ban.
Ultra Marathon runners who failed to update their qualifiers and
running club details by 23 February 2016 closing date have also lost
their entries. |

10th international friendship run The International Friendship Run
is a special event where our International Runners have the opportunity
to meet at 9am on Good Friday (25 March) for a scenic 5.6km run/walk
through the City of Cape Town, past some of the city's most famous
landmarks including the Cape Town Stadium, Sea Point Promenade, Green
Point Park and Mouille Point Lighthouse. Get into the #RunAsOne spirit,
represent your country and celebrate world friendship. This event is FREE OF CHARGE to international participants. Simply enter at the International Counter at the Expo when you collect your race pack on 23 and 24 March.
oMTOM SPECTATOR SPOTS
There's no sweeter moment for a runner than to find a loved one
somewhere along the course - or even a stranger shouting your name.
The great news is that the world's most beautiful marathon has some of
the world's most beautiful spectator spots, and you can pack a picnic
and make a morning of cheering on friends and strangers alike.
Have a look at our handy Spectators' Guide and decide where you want to lend your support.

an active person, and activity involves movement of your muscles, no
matter the type, size or strength of them. Unfortunately, there is no
such thing as a free lunch, and your muscles will occasionally (or

2016 ULTRA MEDALS SNEAK PEEK
The medals handed out to the OMTOM winners and finishers have become a
coveted collectors’ item, with athletes curious to see what each year’s
race has in store.
We design new medals every year. Africa is
often a focal point, as we are proudly African, South African and
Capetonian, but we also incorporate our marketing campaign or iconic
elements like Table Mountain into the design.

Keen to be part of the OMTOM action but not quite at Half or Ultra
Marathon level just yet? Simply sign up to participate in one of the
Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon Fun Runs on Friday, 25 March 2016. The
56m Nappy Dash is perfect for little walkers between the ages of 1 and
3, while the 300m Toddlers' Trot promises tons of fun for youngsters
between ages 4 and 6. The 2.1km and 5.6km Fun Runs (walkers are welcome
too) boast routes so beautiful and easy, these runs are the perfect
introduction to the sport for first-timers! In fact, we have a blogger training for her very first 5.6km! Enter the Fun Runs at the Expo next week.
