PARKING: Want to know where to park on Race Day? Limited pre-paid tickets will be on sale at the Expo. Read all about it.

FORGOT YOUR RACETEC CHIP? Relax, we've got you covered. There will be a RaceTec stand at the Expo where you can buy a new one.

CAN'T MAKE THE EXPO? If your travel plans are preventing you from making it to the Expo on time, you can send a friend to collect your race pack on your behalf. Read all about it and download the authorisation letter template.

RACE DAY TRACKING: Follow the progress of friends and family on Race Day, and view your finish time and results, by downloading the RaceTec app from iTunes or Google Play.



 

TRAIL RUNS & COMPULSORY KIT

The 12km and 22km Trail Runs will take place at UCT on Friday, 25 March. If you're running the Trail Run, please remember to collect your race pack at the Expo on 23 or 24 March!
New Start Times: 22km start - 06h30; 12km start - 07h30
Compulsory Kit: Your race number, water, food, a charged cell phone with the emergency numbers saved on it, hat & sun block, RaceTec chip, windbreaker, space blanket & whistle (compulsory for 22km), water proof jacket.



 

10th international friendship run

The International Friendship Run is a special event where our International Runners have the opportunity to meet at 9am on Good Friday (25 March) for a scenic 5.6km run/walk through the City of Cape Town, past some of the city's most famous landmarks including the Cape Town Stadium, Sea Point Promenade, Green Point Park and Mouille Point Lighthouse. Get into the #RunAsOne spirit, represent your country and celebrate world friendship. This event is FREE OF CHARGE for international participants. Simply enter at the International Counter at the Expo when you collect your race pack on 23 and 24 March.

Keen to be part of the OMTOM action but not quite at Half or Ultra Marathon level just yet? Simply sign up to participate in one of the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon Fun Runs on Friday, 25 March 2016. The 56m Nappy Dash is perfect for little walkers between the ages of 1 and 3, while the 300m Toddlers' Trot promises tons of fun for youngsters between ages 4 and 6. The 2.1km and 5.6km Fun Runs (walkers are welcome too) boast routes so beautiful and easy, these runs are the perfect introduction to the sport for first-timers! In fact, we have a blogger training for her very first 5.6km! Enter the Fun Runs at the Expo this week, or at UCT on the morning of the 25th.



 

MEDICAL NEWSFLASH: GASTRO!

Your engines are warm and your legs are ready to roll, but gastrointestinal (GI) disorders can strike any one, any time, and is a common race day ailment. We've all heard about runners' trots!
