HAPPENING WITH THE ROUTE?

have left a question mark around possible route changes. Please read on

runners using Chapman's Peak as a training route to exercise extreme
caution. Please be vigilant for rock falls and hug the outer lane

With the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon just three weeks away, the Two Oceans
Marathon NPC continues to remain abreast of the latest developments
regarding the Southern Peninsula fires that affect the traditional
Ultra Marathon route. We are in close contact with the City of Cape
Town Disaster Management team and other key role players, and will
continue to be over the course of the next few weeks.

In an attempt to alleviate congenstion at the start we have revised the
Half Marathon start times.
Half Marathon Start Times: A - C: 05h50; D: 06:00;
Remember, the official route cut-off is 09h20. Runners who
have not reached the intersection of Rhodes Drive and Almond Avenue
(18.0km) by 09h00 will not be allowed to continue.

beast trail run ENTRIES ARE OPEN!
The Old Mutual Two Oceans Ultra Trail Run - a.k.a. The Beast
- is a brand new event that will take place on Sunday, 24 May
2015. Catering for seasoned, fit trail runners, The Beast will offer
entrants 45km of spectacular scenery within the Table Mountain National
Park. A shorter 22km option will also be on offer.
