There are training programmes for all levels, whether you want to run a silver or just cross the line in the cut-off time. Norrie is an IAAF and UK Athletics Level 4 established distance coach, who has three decades of running experience with 10 Silver Two Oceans , 20 Comrades (including a 6:07), 10 silver City2City and over 150 ultra marathon races under his belt.

He works with Bedfordview Physiotherapy (JHB), Kings Park Sports Medicine Centre (Durban), and Dubai Physiotherapy Centre for running style, coaching and injury analysis. He also has international triathlon and ultra running colours for South Africa, Scotland and Great Britain and has run further than 160km over 30 times with more than a dozen victories.

Norrie is the author of “Everyone’s Guide to Distance Running” and the “Virgin Active Beginners’ Guide to Walking, Jogging, and Running”. Norrie has run distances from 10km to 1 000km, competed in numerous Ironman events including the Hawaii Ironman, where he finished 8th in his age group, and holds the record from Johannesburg to Durban. He has not only competed, managed, and coached international teams for South Africa and Britain, but also gives advice via the Internet on a one on one basis for runners who are running their first 10km, half marathon or Two Oceans Ultra.
