I ran my first Two Oceans Half Marathon on Saturday. On Friday I was like a kid before Christmas - I could not wait to get going at the start. Having now experienced the race (even though it was just the 21km I can really say IT IS A SPECIAL RACE.

From organising to water tables to the atmosphere at the finish - everything is just great. And then there are the spectators on the route who are out at 6am already cheering everyone on. Really amazing. And now I am counting the days to next year (long way to go) and can't wait to take on the full 56k
