Running4Rare (Rare Diseases South Africa) - Successful Charity 2018
Rare Diseases SA (RDSA) is a registered NPO, and Public Benefit Organisation which aims to ensure that all rare disease patients receive access to treatment and supportive care for improved quality of life. There are over 7500 different, registered rare diseases – so whilst they may be individually rare, collectively they are common - with statistics indicating that 1 in 10 South Africans are affected by rare conditions. RDSA is an umbrella organisation –offering support, assistance and advocacy for patients with all rare diseases.
Type: Half and Ultra Marathon
Cost: R1500 (Half) /R2000 (Ultra) per runner which includes race entry, team T-Shirt & cap, goodie gag. Tiered benefits over and above this for runners who fundraise over and above the minimum amount.
