Running4Rare (Rare Diseases South Africa)
1 in 10 South Africans are affected by Rare Diseases.
There are 7500 different, registered rare diseases – so whilst they may be individually rare, collectively they are common. Rare Diseases SA was established to create an umbrella organisation –offering support, assistance and advocacy for patients with all rare conditions. We are a registered NPO, and Public Benefit Organization (NPO 120-991) and aim to ensure that all rare disease patients receive access to treatment and/or supportive care for improved quality of life. Running4Rare is the running fundraising division of Rare Diseases SA and we encourage runners and athletes to utilise their mobility for the benefit of those without it due to debilitating and degenerative conditions.
Cost: R1500.00 per entry includes:
- Team Goodie Bag
- Information starter pack for creating an online fundraising campaign
