The Anna Foundation
The Anna Foundation aims to address the educational and social needs of rural school children and offer life-long learning to build positive self-worth, self-respect and core values. This is achieved through their professionally designed “3 R’s Programme: Reading, Running and Right-ing” which is implemented in the afternoons and involves education, sports and life skills programmes (implemented through drama). The Anna Foundation also trains local farm women to implement the 3 R’s programme, giving them the skills needed in order to be confident in their roles as facilitators.
Option 1: Run for More Than Yourself - R600 for your OMTOM Charity Entry and start a fundraising campaign in support of the Anna Foundation’s education, sports and life skills programmes for rural children. We will assist you in setting up your fundraising profile on the GivenGain or JustGiving website, and can offer useful tips and advice as to how to get your campaign going, supporting you all the way. Those raising over R1000 will be given an awesome Anna Foundation t-shirt in which to run! If you haven’t done fundraising like this before, don’t worry – the Anna Foundation will help you.
Option 2: No Frills - Pay R600 for your OMTOM Charity Entry and run. That’s it.
*Runners will be required to submit a motivation for their choice of entry.
