Prize Giving April 2015

Prize giving for the top three winners of the Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon will take on the stage at the UCT finish at:

  • 08h30:  Half Marathon
  • 11h30:  Ultra Marathon

In the event of rain, the prize giving will be held in the UCT Indoor Sports Centre.

Team Prizes

Club team prizes are based on the total combined times of the team members. It is incumbent on all clubs to notify the race organisers in writing of any of their athletes who are not eligible for team prizes.

Overall winner who breaks the course record (3:03:44) AND first woman who breaks the woman's course record (3:30:36).

Results

Provisional results will be printed and posted on the results board behind the prize giving stage for category winners:

Category winners (e.g. age group winners) may:

-          review their provisional results,

-          collect their souvenir trophy from the gazebo next to the prize giving stage, and

-          have an official photo taken.

Once all results have been verified, official winners will be contacted by the organising team with further instructions to facilitate the payment of any prize monies.
