Runners still hoping to secure an entry for the 2015 Half Marathon, can now participate though a charity.
This is the second year that we provide a small number of charitable organisations with a limited number of Half Marathon entries - giving them the opportunity to use this event as a platform to raise funds while giving runners the chance to run for a good cause.
Please look at the list of charities and contact the organisation that you would like to run for. The entry process is facilitated via each respective charity.
Note that you have until Thursday, 15 January 2015 to enter through a charity. However, entries are in high demand and we strongly suggest you contact your chosen charity ASAP!
Entry vouchers will be issued for the
Charities may set their own entry fee
and/or fundraising criteria and sell these entries to athletes wanting to run
for their cause.
The charity will issue the entry voucher to
the runner once the proof of payment is provided.
This entry voucher must be used to enter
online. The entrants will only pay for any additional items they require, e.g.
temporary license, RaceTec timing chip (NB: Not required if you already have
one.) and/or t-shirt.
Charity entrants will get seeded based on
the race results supplied.
