Easter Weekend | 14 & 15 April 2017
It's about five weeks to go until I run my first Old Mutual Two Oceans Half Marathon and I am starting to panic.
Long distance running requires dedication. Not all of us can enter a marathon on a whim...
This past Sunday
I was one of roughly 3 000 other runners jostling at The Peninsula Marathon
starting line in Greenpoint. We were all after the same thing – to get through
I have been quite lucky in my life, inasmuch as I have been able to travel,
work and live outside of the UK and see the world as always within reach.
It seems like an age since I booked my place at the Old Mutual Two Oceans
Half Marathon and, as the time nears, I am getting excited.
There are days where running is easy. No matter what my training
schedule requires I am willing to follow the program.
