the world's most beautiful marathon
Easter Weekend | 14 & 15 April 2017
My initial introduction to the Two Oceans Marathon came through my girlfriend Letshego Moshoeu who signed me up for the 21km, three years ago.
My most recent race was the Durbanville Pharmacy Dan Luyt 15km night race - I’m not sure why it’s called a night race because the sun was still high up in the sky.
Why I run? When asked about my “running career”, and I refer to that term very loosely, as I feel much like a Jamaican bobsledder finding his way in a whole new world!
My journey to health and wellness started in 2011 as the fitness diarist for Shape magazine. The original mission: To ride – and finish – th100km Karoo To Coast MT
It’s late August 2010 and outside London is starting to bleed into the colours of autumn.
Running is, decidedly, infectious! My first long distance race happened after a friend invited me to run the 1995 Toronto half marathon while living in Canada.
From Fins to Faas - RUNNING FOR THE OCEANS!
In 2003, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and, at 23 years old, had never heard of it and just wanted it to go away.
It’s always been my goal, from my first Two Oceans ultra, to get my Blue Number. For those new to running, that means you’ve done ten ultras (or half marathons if you have your light blue number).
